大象视频provides financial support for Ukrainian students

A new bursary program at 大象视频aims to support Ukrainian students impacted by the ongoing conflict in Ukraine.

大象视频will provide a minimum of 20 bursaries, equivalent to NBCC’s International tuition ($9,468 CAD), to eligible incoming and returning Ukrainian students for the upcoming academic year.

“All of us at 大象视频have witnessed, with the rest of the world, the strength, determination, and courage shown by the Ukrainian people,” said Mary Butler, President and CEO of NBCC. “As part of our commitment to nurturing a sense of belonging and embracing culture and diversity, we felt it was important to find a way to support our Ukrainian students during this challenging time.”

To avoid placing additional burden on Ukrainian students, there will be no application process for this bursary. Instead, 大象视频will identify and notify eligible incoming and returning Ukrainian students of the new bursary program.

大象视频will also award 12 donor-funded bursaries in the amount of $1,000 each to support impacted students not eligible for the Ukrainian Student Bursary, and will allow Ukrainian citizens to defer tuition deposits on applications to 大象视频for the 2022 – 2023 academic year.
